what we’ve done

A 501(c)(3) nonprofit bridging classrooms and careers

Built regional STEAM/CTE hubs across North Texas (Tarrant, Dallas, Grayson)

Delivered coaching cycles with documented teacher-practice growth

Produced audit-ready evidence for CHIPS/TI-aligned funding reporting

Ran structured, professional, non-disruptive district partnerships built for long-term collaboration — not one-off vendor visits

HAKing Innovation isn't an add-on program — we're the vital link between school-based CTE pathways and the professional engineering and technical workforce. Our connection to real-world employers like Texas Instruments and the CHIPS Act ecosystem keeps our programs relevant, current, and prestigious.

Our Mission

We transform STEAM education by turning student curiosity into technical confidence, and interest into a clear career pipeline.

Our Vision

To cultivate a community of technical talent by providing technically rigorous experiences that challenge students and build real-world skills.

Our Programs

Here's how students experience HAKing Innovation

From twice-weekly afterschool robotics clubs to full-day summer camps to turnkey engineering incubators — every format is designed to fit your school's calendar and your staff's bandwidth.

afterschool robotics

Twice-weekly robotics & STEM, built into the school year

2x / week | 3:30–5:30 or 4:00–5:45 PM | 4th – 9th grade

Activity-based programming focused on hands-on robotics, coding, and collaborative design.

  • 4th–5th grade programs at sites like St. Philip's

  • 6th–9th grade robotics clubs at Lancaster ISD schools (Elsie Robertson, BAMO, GWC)

  • Many school-based programs offered free to students for equitable access; others run on semester-based institutional budgets

SUMMER CAMP

Full-day, immersive STEM — all summer long

Mon–Fri | ~9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Elementary – 12th grade

Hands-on projects, robotics builds, and integrated curriculum designed for high-rigor technical learning — hosted at partner sites across the region.

  • Sites include Brooke of Life Montessori, Lion of Judah, Cedar Hill Collegiate High School, and SMU

  • Weekly tuition structured around each partner engagement

Current Momentum & What’s Next

Strategic Growth

  • Partnering with the Vickery Meadow Youth Development Foundation to plan a 3–4 session STEM series for 7th- and 8th-grade scholars for the 2026–2027 school year

Future Goals

  • Strategic Expansion: continuing to amplify our impact by seeking new corporate partners

  • Programmatic Growth: expanding initiatives to integrate community volunteers as active participants

  • Continuous Improvement: ongoing refinement of programming to increase the scale and quality of our impact

  • Fall Programming: planning and implementing upcoming fall bootcamps

Events & Recognition

  • Hosting a Micro-Internship Social on August 6, 2026, to celebrate interns and their achievements with partners including Texas Instruments and UTD

  • Preparing for the annual gala, “Engineering the Future: Building Tomorrow's Innovators Today,” scheduled for August 15, 2026

Operational Management

  • Managing summer camp programs (e.g., Arlington Aero Tech Camp, GP Camp), including student paperwork, state-standards compliance, and invoicing for school district partners like Dallas ISD

LET'S BUILD THE FUTURE

We're looking to partner with Houston-area school districts to bring high-impact, industry-ready technical education to your campus. Let's discuss how we can support your CTE and P-TECH goals.
