Engineering Technician Exposure Micro-Internship
Real-world experience. Professional skills. Career-ready confidence.
A 5-week structured program connecting 11th and 12th grade EET/ET students to professional environments — in partnership with Texas Instruments.
About the Program
Many students graduate high school without ever stepping foot in a professional workplace. The Engineering Technician Exposure Micro-Internship changes that.
This 5-week program is designed to give EET and ET students from Hillcrest, Kimball, CIN, and CS real exposure to engineering and technician career pathways — before graduation. Through guided career preparation and supervised field experience, students build the confidence, communication skills, and professional habits they need to succeed in future internships and careers.
